During my travel I noticed intricate baskets everywhere during my travels all with different functionalities, from gathering or filtering rice, carrying large loads of laundry, to holding ceremonial materials. My friend Lara would always remind me that our bodies are just containers, which led me to make my bamboo figure “Container.”
